The sudden death of one of the biggest fans of Little City brought us together after a lengthy hiatus. His friends had asked if there was a recording of his favorite Little City song to play at his funeral. We only played the song a few times live and abandoned it, because I was the singer, and I, frankly, butchered it live. But I had grown as a musician since then, and grew from poor to adequate singer.
The next evening we went into the studio and recorded it so they’d have it for the funeral. Playing together again excited us, and we decided to record a couple more songs we played for years and release them together before I left for New York.
I wrote the songs, and contributed guitars and vocals.
